Léthicia K. Paul, DPM
Dr. Léthicia K. Paul, DPM, MPH, MS is a foot and ankle specialist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for patients of all ages. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, with expertise in minimally invasive surgery, sports injuries, reconstructive foot and ankle procedures, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, trauma, and elective foot surgery.
Dr. Paul completed her Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery (PMSR/RRA) at Good Samaritan University Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center in West Islip, New York. During her residency, she performed more than 700 surgical procedures and received comprehensive training in advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, total ankle replacement, arthroscopy, fracture management, deformity correction, diabetic foot care, and limb preservation. She also trained alongside specialists in vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, infectious disease, wound care, emergency medicine, and internal medicine to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.
Before earning her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Paul obtained a Master of Public Health from Nova Southeastern University and a Master of Science from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also received a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida with a minor in Business Administration. Her background in public health complements her commitment to preventive care, patient education, and helping patients achieve long-term mobility and wellness.
Throughout her training, Dr. Paul has demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership, education, and research. She served as President of the NYCPM Class of 2023, has published peer-reviewed research in foot and ankle surgery, and has received multiple academic and clinical awards recognizing her dedication to excellence. She remains actively involved in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the New York State Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Known for taking the time to listen to her patients, Dr. Paul believes that every treatment plan should be individualized to each person's lifestyle and goals. Whether treating chronic heel pain, bunions, ankle injuries, diabetic foot complications, or complex reconstructive conditions, she strives to help patients return to the activities they enjoy with improved comfort, function, and confidence.
Dr. Paul is fluent in English, French, and Haitian Creole, and is conversational in Spanish, allowing her to provide personalized care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
