About Dr. Magar

From the moment Dolma Magar, DPM, started on the path to becoming a podiatrist, she distinguished herself with a truly stellar academic record. At St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York, she graduated summa cum laude with a major in biology and minor in chemistry. She distinguished herself yet again at the venerable New York College of Podiatric Medicine, followed by Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she completed her post-doctoral training as chief resident.

Dr. Magar is board certified and trained to treat any foot or ankle disorder. She’s particularly experienced in sports-related foot and ankle surgeries for deformity corrections, such as bunions, hammertoes, and foot reconstruction.

Dr. Magar does not slow down in her spare time, either. She likes to travel and spend time with her family outdoors. An avid hiker, she considers Mt. Rainier, Washington, her toughest challenge yet. For the future, she has her sights set on an even greater challenge: Everest Base Camp.
